Job Description
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
  • Provide support as needed to the proposal team in order to achieve department goals
  • Review the minimum requirements for each project and determine if they align with company’s core business model
  • Organize and maintain electronic files on company platform
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Produce written proposals and presentations utilizing standardized processes and department templates
  • Conduct thorough review of documents for cohesiveness of responses, content flow and organization, syntax/grammar, and format specifications prior to internal review
  • Identify legal content and contractual language that requires review and or approval by legal counsel
  • Collaborate with the sales team in the development of a strategic approach including appealing and persuasive content
  • Produce final proposal documents for RFP specifications
  • Assist with the development of tailored content for proposals by engaging subject matter experts
Requirements
  • Ability to independently identify, research and resolve issues
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Bachelor’s degree in health administration, business or related field; proven industry experience will be acceptable inlieu of degree
  • Ability to work with peers in a team effort
  • A well-organized and self-directed individual who is able to work with minimal amount of supervision
  • A decisive individual who possesses a strategic focus as well as an operational, implementation, and detail oriented perspective
  • Minimum of 2 years project management experience
  • Ability to work extended hours, weekends, and holidays pursuant with industry demands
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and industry related software programs
  • Capability to efficiently complete tasks in a fast paced environment
  • A strategic planner with sound technical skills, analytical ability, good judgment, and strong operational focus
  • Minimum 2 years content development experience with a PBM/pharmacy business, commercial or government, funded health insurance plan (i.e. Medicare Part D/Advantage, Medicaid, ACO), or in the healthcare industry
  • An intelligent and articulate individual who can relate to people at all levels of an organization and possesses excellent communication skills
  • Ability to exercise considerable judgment, maintain confidentiality, and act in a diplomatic manner
Preferred Qualifications
  • Qvidian Proposal Automation experience
  • Experience writing proposals, grants or similar documents
The typical starting pay range for this position is between $45,993/year and $69,044/year, although wages can vary based on experience and geography.
