Location – Remote within the US – strong preference for eastern and central time zone.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Gather, organize, and keep track of multiple branch locations billing data.
• Assist Accounting personnel with any transactional research related to the Billing process, including all audits.
• Assist with the implementation of a new automated billing system.
• Assist with additional Billing tasks and ad hoc projects
• Implementation of special program billing, new or existing customers.
• Assist with opportunities to streamline billing and collections processes.
• A lot of the work is manual in nature so there will be a good bit of data entry. They are looking to implement a new system to automate the process moving forward.
• Prepare monthly and weekly invoices for services.
• Conduct reconciliations of customer billing sheets with payroll data.

Background Profile:

• 2+ years experience in billing, accounts receivable or accounting
• Ability to prioritize Billing activity, various projects and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency with Accounting systems; Microsoft Office Suite programs
• Experience with Excel spreadsheets and reconciliation experience
• Experience billing for mechanics, technicians, construction workers, skilled labor, drivers, or any other type of services related industry would be extremely beneficial
• College degree is preferred but it does not have to be an Accounting or Finance degree
• Critical thinker and decision maker that can identify the issue and what’s needed to fix it
• Seeking someone who’s reliable, with a good personality that’s easy to work with
• Individual that can work independently with minimal assistance
