Position Overview:We are seeking a Media Monitoring and Analysis Specialist to support our client, USSTRATCOM, in tracking, analyzing, and summarizing media coverage related to their activities and objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of media monitoring tools, real-time analysis, and the ability to extract relevant information from various sources. This is a contract role with a duration of 12 months, based at NE 68113, United States.Responsibilities:Media Monitoring:Monitor and manage a minimum of 5 and maximum of 20 usernames and passwords to allow simultaneous logins from global locations 24/7.Ensure continuous access and handle outages, compensating for any downtime.Real-time Analysis:Conduct real-time analysis of print, broadcast, web-based, and social media content across local, national, and international outlets.Analyze editorial sources, print outlets, paywall-protected publications, broadcast coverage, podcasts, and various social media platforms.Content Capture and Archiving:Capture and archive media coverage within 30 minutes of publishing using advanced boolean-based keyword searches.Maintain archives for reporting and analysis purposes.Translation and Comparison:Provide translation (host language to English) of monitored content within one hour of publishing.Compare media coverage related to events, creating share-of-voice breakdowns and identifying top influencing journalists.Broadcast and Print Content Access:Download and save content from Designated Market Areas (DMA) networks, local affiliates, independent stations, major cable stations, online news, and radio networks.Ensure availability within one hour of airing or publishing.Access and retrieve content hidden behind paywalls or requiring subscriptions. Provide relevant synopses or paraphrases within one hour.Evidence and Transcript Management:Manage full transcript text and unlimited transcripts of as-aired content within one hour of publishing.Maintain an easily searchable database of as-aired or published evidence of USSTRATCOM products and interviews.Social Media Engagement:Perform 24/7 social media listening, assessment, and engagement.Manage and publish content on social media profiles, generate engagement reports, identify top influencers, and report on engagement metrics.Reporting and Analysis:Generate customizable reports based on keywords and timelines, including promotional value, sentiment, and media market research data.Provide graphical media analysis for quantifiable assessments.Deliver daily real-time email alerts to notify relevant stakeholders of media activity and coverage.Duplicate Content Management:Identify and manage duplicated information from single sources without significant updates or changes.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Media Studies, or related field (or equivalent experience).Strong experience in media monitoring and analysis.Proficiency in using media monitoring tools and software.Excellent understanding of global media landscape and platforms.Strong analytical and organizational skills.Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.Flexibility to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.Strong time management and prioritization skills.Contract Details:Duration: 12 months, with possibility of extension.Location: NE 68113, United States.Hiring Company: Rexus USA LLC.
