Billing Specialist (Remote) ($21.55 - $25.86 / Hour)

Responsibilities

• Creation and updating of recurring billing contracts in the accounting system
• Timely invoicing of fees per contract terms and reporting revenue per GAAP/companies policies
• Maintenance of billing orders and update of CRM/Data tracking system in conjunction with Accounting System
• Data entry for various accounting processes as required
• Assisting Billing Staff accountants with the monthly close process

Qualifications And Experience

• Understanding of accounting principles, common accounting standards, and office procedures
• Excellent customer service skills through both written and verbal communication
• 2+ years of accounting experience showing progression of accounting responsibilities
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred, Associate's degree in Accounting considered for qualified candidates
• Self-starter who takes responsibility and ownership for their function on the team

Additional Information

• Provide backup for Accounting & Administration team members
• Perform other general accounting duties and/or special projects as needed
• Provide professional interaction and responses to all levels of customers and colleagues
• Contribute ideas for improving the efficiency of accounting processes
• Be flexible and willing to allocate additional time during peak times
• This is not a medical Billing and Coding role. It is a Corporate Billing role.
• Assist with providing supporting documentation for the annual financial statement audit
