Position: Social Media Specialist (Remote)
We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic social media specialist to join our dynamic marketing team. In this role, you'll craft social media campaigns and manage our company's social media presence on a day-to-day basis. Your passion for utilizing social media as a communication tool will drive the incorporation of industry best practices across all platforms.
The ideal candidate is a creative individual who can generate novel concepts for social media platforms, offer support in content and design creation, and manage the implementation process. Active participation in data collection and analysis will contribute to refining our social media strategies over time.
Responsibilities
Formulate and execute a compelling social media strategy through research, platform selection, SEO, messaging, and audience segmentation.
Maintain a well-structured content calendar.
Develop, edit, publish, and share daily content (original text, images, videos, or HTML) that fosters meaningful connections and encourages community engagement.
Optimize company pages on various platforms to amplify the visibility of our social content.
Uphold user-generated content guidelines within each community's moderation policy.
Enhance strategies based on relevant social data, insights, and best practices.
Collaborate with other departments (marketing, customer success, sales, etc.) to safeguard our reputation, identify key stakeholders, and synchronize efforts.
Devise consistent social media content plans aligned with our brand identity.
Produce consistent, meaningful content across all social media channels, encompassing well-crafted social media posts, improved customer interaction, and promotion of campaigns.
Manage a substantial volume of daily social media activity across platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube), maintaining adherence to SEO practices and launch schedules.
Engage with social media followers, including timely responses to inquiries.
Cultivate and manage social influencer initiatives.
Utilize analytical tools like Google Analytics, Hootsuite, or equivalent, as well as Facebook Insights, to assess and enhance our social media presence and performance.
Compile monthly reports on social media marketing endeavors, presenting findings to the team.
Offer recommendations to fine-tune the social media marketing strategy for optimal results.
Stay updated on emerging trends and best practices in social media.
Requirements And Skills
Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, marketing, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years' experience in social media, including content planning and management in a corporate or agency context.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, coupled with a comprehensive understanding of social media strategy and management.
Proficiency in analytics software usage, SEO understanding, and familiarity with distinct platform algorithms.
Exceptional multitasking and time management abilities, with a knack for task prioritization.
Capability to thrive in a fast-paced professional setting.
Proven track record in social media marketing or as a Digital Media Specialist.
Demonstrable creativity, encompassing writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation, and communication skills.
Familiarity with social networking and social analytics tools.
Basic knowledge of web design, web development, and Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO).
Positive demeanor, detail-oriented, customer-focused, and adept at multitasking and organization.
