Job Description
We are a prominent cabinet manufacturer, known for our excellence in crafting high-quality products and delivering top-notch customer service. We are currently seeking a dedicated and organized Project Management Assistant to support our Head of Purchasing and collaborate closely with the Director of Purchasing.

As the Project Management Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of our purchasing department and the timely execution of projects. Your role involves providing essential administrative and organizational support to streamline our workflow. Attention to detail and a proactive approach are essential to maintaining our department's productivity.
Responsibilities
Offer comprehensive administrative support by managing the schedule, appointments, and meetings of the Head of Purchasing.
Take meticulous notes during meetings and ensure timely follow-up on action items.
Coordinate and prioritize tasks, projects, and deadlines to ensure on-time completion.
Act as a liaison between internal teams and external vendors on behalf of the Head of Purchasing to facilitate effective communication.
Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation as required.
Maintain confidential files and documents with the utmost professionalism.
Serve as the professional point of contact for both internal and external stakeholders.
Conduct research and gather data to support decision-making processes.
Assist in the organization of events, conferences, and workshops for the purchasing department.
Qualifications
Previous experience as a Project Management Assistant or Administrative Assistant, preferably in purchasing or a related field.
Exceptional organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to multitask effectively.
Strong written and verbal communication skills to ensure clear communication within the department and with external contacts.
Proficiency in note-taking and maintaining accurate records.
Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other relevant tools.
Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information with the utmost professionalism and discretion.
A proactive and self-motivated attitude, with the ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
Flexibility and adaptability to handle changing priorities and deadlines.
A positive and professional demeanor with excellent interpersonal skills.
