Our centers are situated in Brick, Freehold, Lakewood, Little Egg Harbor, Manahawkin, Manchester, and Toms River. We also extend our wellness initiatives to local schools - Clifton Ave Grade School and Lakewood High School.
About The Role
As a vital member of our Information Technology team, you will hold the position of Data Analyst. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting analysis and developing both quantitative and qualitative databases and metrics. Through data visualization and database design, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our reporting capabilities and contributing to our continuous quality improvement (CQI) plan.
Responsibilities
Interpret and analyze data, providing ongoing reports using statistical techniques.
Transform complex data into understandable visualizations like graphs and infographics for effective management communication.
Collaborate with the quality team to identify essential reporting metrics and current database sources.
Develop and implement efficient data collection systems that optimize statistical efficiency and data quality to support our quality and performance programs.
Engage various departments in the development of analytic models and reporting.
Acquire, maintain, and manage data from primary and secondary sources, ensuring data integrity.
Develop reports to fulfill requirements such as HEDIS, UDS, DOH LOA, and Wrap-Around reporting.
Promote information and infrastructure security awareness across the organization.
Generate ad-hoc reports for Senior Management to aid in budget planning, grant applications, and strategic planning.
Create and monitor reports for Quality Improvement Activities.
Stay current with computer systems, including database management.
Collaborate with teams to identify trends and process improvement opportunities.
Communicate effectively with senior executives and facilitate their engagement in the program.
Work collaboratively to resolve challenges professionally and efficiently.
Maintain a high level of accountability for productivity and transparency through project tracking.
Meet performance scorecard thresholds.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management, or Statistics.
1-3 years of experience as a data analyst, preferably in a healthcare setting.
Strong technical expertise in data models, database design, data mining, and segmentation techniques.
Proficiency in reporting packages (e.g., Business Objects), databases (SQL), programming (XML, JavaScript, Python), and visualization tools (PowerBI, Tableau).
Knowledge of statistics and statistical packages (Excel, SPSS, SAS).
Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficiency in query writing, report creation, and data presentation.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365.
