We are a rapidly growing organization in the Woodbridge, NJ area. We are seeking to hire a Social Media Coordinator to join our team of progressive professionals. The ideal candidate will be responsible for but not limited to the following responsibilities:
Summary:
As a Social Media Coordinator, you will have a strong background in social media. The ideal candidate is highly organized and a strong communicator who is a motivated social media marketing professional. You will help drive the social media strategy for various brands from consumer electronics to pet and personal care products, as well as oversee/implement campaigns which include but are not limited to, managing the creation of published content, designing earned and paid promotions and campaigns, monitoring social trends, and reporting on the effectiveness of social media efforts.
Job Responsibilities:
- Creating, curating, and managing published content - images, videos, and written content.
- Monitoring online feedback and responding in a timely matter.
- Leveraging data learnings from reports to shape recommendations for the future.
- Analyzing and reporting on key metrics.
- Developing summaries that detail social media performance.
- Overseeing design (i.e., social media graphics optimized for Facebook, TikTok, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest, thumbnails, ads, blog, etc.).
- Monitoring and responding to users in a “Social” way while cultivating leads and sales.
- Developing relevant content topics to reach the company’s target audience.
- Monitoring trends in social media tools, applications, channels, design, and strategy.
- Assisting in creating social media strategies that coordinate with marketing, sales, and R&D.
- Designing, creating, and managing promotions and social ad campaigns.
- Developing and expanding community and/or influencer outreach efforts.
- Managing campaigns with daily activities including:
- Working with social media influencers.
- Compiling reports for management showing results.
Required skills:
- Proven success with social media, including an ability to build and maintain media relationships.
- Ability to create a content strategy that includes content development and publishing.
- 2-3 years of experience in a social media role.
- Ability to create content in the social media space for specified target audience(s).
- Knowledge and experience with common monitoring and reporting tools for social media.
Education:
- BA or BS in Communications, English, Journalism, Marketing, or Public Relations, or equivalent work experience preferred.
