Description
IntraHealth International is now seeking a Senior Human Resources Officer to join our global human resources team. In this role, you will support and coordinate IntraHealth’s domestic and international talent acquisition activities including full cycle recruiting. The role also supports the smooth and efficient administration of IntraHealth International human resources day to day processes.
This position can be based remotely within the United States, and/or out of our Chapel Hill, North Carolina heaquarters.
Duties include:
- Manage the full-life cycle hiring process of candidates for headquarters positions, ongoing projects, and occasionally expatriates, third country nationals, and cooperating country nationals for project proposals for business development as needed. Regular activities include advertising positions, screening applications, coordinating interviews, checking references and negotiating salaries.
- Ensure that all new hire paperwork is completed stored in the Employee File Management System; facilitate I-9 and other critical day-one and week-one processes.
- Utilize Applicant Tracking System (UKGPro) to manage candidates from the hired stage through preboarding, onboarding and provisioning.
- Develop pipeline of talent, specifically for frequently filled positions.
- Serve as point of contact and regularly communicate with new hires; set expectations, facilitate issue resolution, send it in etc. Coordinate with IT, Payroll and other departments to ensure setup and orientation.
- Provide high-quality, prompt and professional employee/customer service. Ensure that customers' questions are fully addressed and escalate to other HR staff when appropriate, ensure each case is fully resolved within a timely manner.
- Conduct interviews using various reliable recruiting and selection tools.
- Manage the new hire orientation process, schedule or build awareness on department orientations. Perform regular check ins with candidates to ensure a good onboarding experience.
- Provide initial screening of applicant pools, as well as phone screens or interviews where applicable.
- Review job details and prepare postings in coordination with hiring manager.
- Source and recruit candidates by using databases, social media, networking, and online tools.
Qualifications:
- Experience working as an HR professional with multiple facilities required and international locations preferred.
- Prior experience working and applying HR principles in a system environment with prior experience developing, maintaining and improving processes to achieve greater efficiencies and performance.
- Preference given to candidates with experience working with NGOs on international development activities.
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field, and 4 years' experience in the areas of talent acquisition/recruitment/staffing.
- Experience working with Applicant Tracking Systems is required, and experience with Human Resource Information Systems is preferred.
Compensation
The salary range for this role is expected to be: $57,000 - $89,000 per year.
Exact compensation may vary based on experience, education, training, skill level and market conditions.
