Job Summary


Assists Chief Human Resources Executive with planning, organizing, coordinating and implementing administrative functions and special projects. Serves as liaison between staff, management, physicians, etc. Performs administrative and clerical duties and functions as a resource person for staff.


Education


Required: Associate's Degree in Business or Office Management or comparable combination of education and experience. Specialized courses in computer systems, accounting and business communication.

Required: Minimum of five years progressively responsible secretarial/administrative experience in an executive office setting.

Department Position Summary


Provides administrative support to the Chief Human Resources Executive in routine operations of the hospital. Attends meetings and prepares agendas, minutes and supporting documents accurately and in a timely manner. Acts as a delegate by attending and participating in inservices, educational programs, meetings and functions. Serves as liaison between staff, medical staff, and management. Types, edits and composes correspondence, minutes, and reports accurately. Accepts and completes assignments for special projects. Keeps the office running smoothly in the absence of the Chief Human Resources Executive. Maintains confidentiality as required.
