This role can be located in San Francisco-CA, Sunnyvale-CA or Remote-US depending on where the hired candidate for the role currently resides.

Interested in helping us build our next generation of internal tools and build a data-driven business? Our team supports the planning and operational landscape for the business and manages all data needs for LinkedIn’s Global Business Organization (GBO). Spanning systems design, reporting, product management, business strategy, and operations, you will gain a broad spectrum of experience applying your technical data skills to drive strategy and improve company operations. 
This role will be a good fit for a candidate with exceptional quantitative, communication, and project management skills. You will have the opportunity to apply your deep understanding of System Design, Operations, and Analytics to streamline our business reporting capabilities end-to-end while influencing our broader data strategy at LinkedIn.
Responsibilities:   
  • Partner with other Operations teams, Data Science, and Engineering to build the optimal platform to support our data processing and consumption needs
  • Drive an alignment on the metric source of truth datasets across Sales Operations, Business Operations, Finance, Data Science, and Engineering teams
  • Partner with cross-functional teams in designing, implementing, and supporting critical business solutions and processes on the Anaplan platform
  • Develop a deep understanding of the key sales metrics for LinkedIn’s SaaS Lines of Business
  • Provide Data Validation and Quality Assurance during and after model development and support validation activities post go-live.
  • Build, maintain, and continuously improve upon various models, provide architectural guidance, and drive Anaplan best practices for initiatives across LinkedIn
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:   
  • 2+ years of work experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Math, Computer Science, Economics, Business, Engineering or other quantitative fields, OR equivalent experience
  • 1+ years of Anaplan model building experience, 2+ for Sr Associate
Preferred Qualifications:   
  • Effective Communications: Excellent communication skills with the ability to distill complex thoughts and strategies into simple, actionable recommendations  
  • SQL Experience: 2+ years of experience with SQL
  • Anaplan Certification: Certified in Level 1 Model Building, Level 2 Model Building, and Anaplan Way or above
  • Proactive and passionate about results: Independently capable of seeking information, solving conceptual problems, corralling resources, and delivering results in challenging situations
  • CRM Data Expertise: Knowledge of reporting and dashboarding with data from a CRM, preferably Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics and PowerBI
  • Problem-Solver: Comfortable with data and ambiguity; able to both delve into the details and operational tactics and engage meaningfully in the big picture or overall strategy
  • Tech Industry or SaaS experience: Subject matter expertise in B2B sales processes and/or experience working in high-growth, performance-focused environments
  • Sales Operations: Knowledge of the end-to-end Financial Planning & Budgeting Process, including forecasting, headcount planning, spend management, leverage this knowledge to design, and deliver the necessary solutions
  • Highly Analytical: Experience decomposing and solving real-world business problems, ideally building/using advanced Excel models
  • Initiative and Ownership: Ability to act with limited oversight on a day-to-day basis, balancing multiple priorities
  • Adaptable to change: Excited by working in a quickly evolving team

The pay range for this role is $85,000 to $126,000. Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, certifications, and specific office location. This may differ in other locations due to cost of labor considerations.
