JOB SUMMARY:

The Human Resources/People Analytics Analyst role requires expertise in quantitative & qualitative analysis; data visualization; and story telling to deliver trends and insights beyond tabular data to support strategic HR initiatives across, but not limited to, recruitment, retention, diversity & inclusion, and budgetary management for the digital banking and commercial banking units.

You will engage in multiple, concurrent projects that require inputs/feedback from cross-functional stakeholders within and outside of Human Resources, while balancing impact on business needs. As an analytics advisor, you will understand and translate business needs to mathematical concepts, scoping data requests, synthesizing insights, and recommending solutions to key HR partners and department leaders. Along with maintaining and guarding Human Resource Management System data integrity, you will also manage/deliver recurring reports and dashboards for internal partners, external vendors, and regulatory bodies.

Experience and adeptness in Microsoft excel, automation, external research, Power BI, and integrating unstructured internal/external data sets to provide a holistic story is critical.



DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain Human Resource Information Management system data integrity.
  • Respond to leadership and stakeholders for a variety of on-demand and recurring data and reporting requests.
  • Guard sensitive workforce data.
  • Perform proactive diagnostic analysis on Human Resource/Workforce elements and communicate any trends/issues to leadership.
  • Proactively identify areas of opportunity for improvement.
  • Design, develop, and implement scalable reporting solutions to drive business decisions and measure success of programs and initiatives.




POSITION SPECIFICATIONS:


Education: Bachelor's degree and/or data analytics boot camp certification.


Skills/ Qualifications:

  • Creative with a point-of-view, but always open to new ideas and collaborating closely with a cross functional team.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with multiple levels of internal and external contacts.
  • Acts with sense of urgency while adopting a customer service approach to all stakeholders.
  • 4+ years experience in Microsoft Excel and Power BI.
  • Must be able to manage conflicting priorities, follow up on assignments/requests, and act proactively.
  • Experience in Human Resources Analytics, Business/Data Analytics, or Finance preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to assess and question vague requests,
  • Knowledge of human resources management systems a plus.
  • Recognize and flag anomalies or issues, and recommend innovative solutions.
