Meet The Team
As the global leader for Sales Analytics and Insights, you will be responsible for setting the strategic direction for all Dexcom Sales inisghts. Your responsibilities are to analyze data and create insights in partnership with Sales and Commercial leaders to maximize growth. You will need to identify trends that will increase sales opportunities, make recommendations, and manage expectations around improving sales practices. A successful candidate will have experience and know how to leverage the CRM system, industry practices, relationship skills, project management practices, and deep experience with pharmaceutical data globally.
Where You Come In
  • Collaborate cross function to develop and maintain data governance and integrity framework to support the administration & execution of Incentive Compensation.
  • Develop, monitor, and analyze performance data and market trends to identify opportunities to improve effectiveness and performance.
  • Lead & facilitate Center of Excellence for Global Sales Analytics.
  • Monitor and analyze sales data to identify data issues and ensure accurate sales compensation.
  • Advocate for data-driven decision making across all commercial leadership and business levels of the organization.
  • Continually seek out opportunities to eliminate inefficiencies and automate manual processes
  • Develop automated reports and dashboards that measure and illustrate progress for the sales team.
  • Serve as the technical expert in supporting Sales Analytics & Data Visualization across different markets.
  • Work closely with Commercial operations and sales leadership to understand the needs of the business.
  • Ensure cross functional communication and alignment to maximize impact of insights on strategic issues
  • Define and establish metrics to provide regular reporting capabilities to measure commercial effectiveness and actions required
  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders to shape the data strategy for incentive compensation
  • Maintain master data to ensure correct sales reporting and compensation calculations.
  • Support sales intelligence initiatives through the full lifecycle from requirements analysis through design & development, release, testing and support / maintenance.
  • Develop solutions to automate compensation calculations & changes.
  • Act as technical owner and expert of sales compensation system.
  • Partner with IT and other cross-functional teams to define systems and analytics capabilities.
What Makes You Successful
  • Ability to review, comprehend, analyze, and interpret requests, concepts, documents, etc
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline
  • Process oriented thinking with exceptional attention to detail
  • Proven ability to learn new tools and technology
  • Demonstrated strength in SQL, Python, data modeling, ETL development, and data warehousing.
  • Knowledge of traditional and modern data warehouse methodologies, including Cloud technologies such as Big Query, Snowflake, Databricks.
  • Proficient in data visualization tools, preferably Tableau.
  • Demonstrated successful experience as a Business Intelligence Engineer
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced and changing environment with short deadlines, interruptions, and multiple tasks/projects occurring at once
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with 3rd party data like IMS Health or Symphony, with a strong understanding of related data sources (preferred but not required)
  • Executive presentation experience
  • Experience with medical/retail claims and Managed care data a plus

Exempt Salary Details
The annual base salary range for this role is $128,600 to $214,400. Final compensation package will ultimately depend on factors including relevant experience, skillset, knowledge, business needs and market demand.
Experience And Education
  • Typically requires a Bachelors degree with 13+ years of industry experience.
  • 5-8 years of previous people management experience.
