Business Analyst (New Grad)

Job Summary:

As a Remote Business Analyst, you will play a vital role in analyzing and interpreting data to support strategic decision-making processes within our organization. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will identify opportunities, define requirements, and contribute to the successful delivery of various projects. Your insights and recommendations will be integral to shaping our business strategies, ensuring our services remain at the forefront of the industry.

Responsibilities:

1. Data Analysis: Utilize advanced analytical tools and methodologies to extract, clean, and analyze large datasets from various sources to derive meaningful insights and trends.
2. Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders, including product managers, developers, and marketing teams, to gather and document business requirements for new projects and enhancements to existing products/services.
3. Process Optimization: Identify process inefficiencies and propose solutions to streamline workflows, improve operational efficiency, and enhance overall productivity.
4. Market Research: Stay abreast of industry trends, competitors, and market dynamics to provide data-driven recommendations for business strategy improvements.
5. Reporting and Visualization: Create and maintain visually appealing reports and dashboards using data visualization tools to present findings and facilitate data-driven decision-making at all levels of the organization.
6. Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough testing and validation of software solutions to ensure they meet the defined requirements and align with business objectives.
7. Project Management Support: Assist in project planning, monitoring progress, and coordinating with team members to ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.
8. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work collaboratively with different teams to align business goals, share insights, and facilitate effective communication across the organization.

Requirements:

1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Computer Science, or related fields.
2. Strong Analytical Skills: Demonstrated ability to analyze complex data sets, identify patterns, and draw meaningful conclusions.
3. Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey complex concepts and insights to diverse audiences.
4. Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Python, R, etc.) and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
5. Problem-Solving Mindset: A proactive and detail-oriented approach to problem-solving with a keen eye for identifying process improvements.
6. Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively within a remote team environment and adapt to changing priorities.

Compensation:

The salary for this position ranges from $50,000 to $85,000 per year, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
