Seeking an experienced Senior New Business Development & Management Professional with a proven track record of excellence and over-achievement in driving profitable growth and transformation within the Telecommunications markets to join our highly successful global Telecommunications.
The candidate must have a demonstrable track record of originating and closing offshore/nearshore IT Services engagements with the gravitas to engage at C-level across major insurance organizations. Also, understand the concepts and key messages behind Agile and Digital Services and have sold full life cycle of software development (Consulting, Development, Testing, Support).
Responsibilities:
- Proven record of exceeding sales/revenue targets, resulting in consistent above target performance within sales career at personal and managerial levels.
- Individual bidding as well as coordination and participation in contract negotiations
- Relationship management, maintenance, and use of your network
- Identification and acquisition of new clients and projects in the sector
- Major focus on closing ‘Big Ticket’ deals
- Specialties: Retail/CPG (any area: Grocery, Big Box, Fashion, Homeware, Consumer Goods, etc) Verticals
- Internal coordination of the support of other teams, also abroad
- Team Player able to motivate and drive individuals and teams to consistently over- achieve and grow.
- Self-Starter with end-to-end ownership of the sales process from acquisition to completion
- Use of marketing tools to obtain new orders
- Participation and moderation of external events
Skills and Qualifications:
- Possess technical and commercial background, persistence, and persuasiveness needed to succeed in a sales role
- Able to plan, schedule, and monitor own work within deadlines
- Maintains awareness of developing technologies and takes some responsibility for personal development
- Experience in sales of offshore or nearshore / IT Services
- Multiple years’ experience in Technical sales with a thorough understanding of IT services, principles, and practices
- Results orientated & commercially focused.
- Self-Starter and structured work ethic
- 8+ years of professional sales experience at a senior level in the Retail/CPG sector
- Communicates fluently and effectively in business writing and present information to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Understands and demonstrates a systematic approach to problem solving
- Strong experience of methods and techniques for preparing and presenting proposals, business cases, and statements of work
