The Leasing Representative Floater will be responsible for providing leasing coverage at specified properties as needed.
- Conduct lease signing and ensure accuracy of all leasing documents
- Complete weekly and monthly sales activity reports
- Conduct presentations of the building’s amenities and apartments to prospective residents
- Research and produce comparable (comp) reports
- Interface with residents to address maintenance issues, lease renewals, and resolve any concerns
- Work closely with the management team to ensure that the apartment community is meeting targeted occupancy and revenue goals
- Ensure approved applicants’ move-in process is smooth
- Assist prospective residents with the application process
- Position may be required to perform duties outside their normal responsibilities as needed and when requested
- Contact prospective residents, create guest cards, and input their information into database
- 2-4 years’ experience in the retail, sales, or service industry
- Must have a current New York State Real Estate Salesperson License or experience in an on site property management leasing office. If unlicensed, the representative will be required to obtain a NY State Real Estate Sales person license within 90 days of employment
- Knowledgeable of the NYC residential rental market
- Technical experience with application processing software strongly preferred (i.e. CRM (LUV), On-Site and MRI)
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel and ability to learn various property management systems

- Recognizes that sales are an emotional as well as logical decision
- Demonstrates leadership using diplomatic skills during difficult situations with applicants, brokers, staff, and management
- Demonstrates strong selling skills by ability to prospect and qualify leads, identify customer needs, translate features to benefits, deliver effective demos, negotiate, and close sales
Physical/Environmental Requirements:
- Additional physical demands include significant physical mobility as required to move between and around, showing apartments at assigned properties
- Work is typically performed in an office setting during normal business hours. However, depending on business requirements, evening, and weekend work may be required
Anticipated compensation range for this position is $31.25 per hour depending on location, plus significant incentive compensation. Full benefits packages.
