ABOUT THE ROLE

As pioneers in scientific, quantitative trading, we explore more and more datasets in order to shape and consolidate our trading decisions. The IT Data Financial team works closely with Research teams to perform statistical analyzes based on the exploration of new data.

You will join our New York office.

Base salary 150-160 K-USD

+ Bonus

• You will design, develop, and implement data pipelines in our Data Platform, while taking in charge data quality assurance and application monitoring.
• You will take part, from the exploratory phase up to production launches in analyzing new datasets with Alpha research and will extract relevant features to provide reliable and actionable insights.
• You will be owning end-to-end data workflows and developing data domain expertise, as a business partner of Research teams.
• We expect you to properly understand business needs and challenges in order to translate them into scalable data solutions and identify new modelling pathways.

SKILLSET REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS

• You are proficient in financial markets
• You have coding skills with of data science tools and libraries (Numpy, Pandas, Matplotlib, Jupyter) and a good knowledge of data pipelines construction
• You are proficient in programming and visualization in Python
• You are fluent in written and spoken in English
• You feel at ease with distributed computing tools and cloud technology (Spark, AWS)
• You have at least 3 years experience in data analysis or similar role
• You have a Master Degree from an engineering school or university equivalent (preferably a Master’s in Data Science)
• You are versatile, autonomous and rigorous, with a strong team spirit and good communication skills
• You have a working visa allowing you to work in the USA
