Warehouse Coordinator - Nyc Ferry

City Experiences is seeking a Warehouse Coordinator for our NYC Ferry operation in Brooklyn.

About The Opportunity

As a Warehouse Coordinator, you will be responsible for the safe and timely shipping, distribution, storing, packaging, and otherwise transporting of inventory for NYC Ferry.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming inventory and equipment for quality before storing or rerouting.
• Packaging inventory for safe shipping.
• Ensure delivery schedule is maintained and promptly alert supervisors if a delay occurs or is likely.
• Complies with federal, state, and local warehousing, material handling, and shipping requirements by studying existing and new legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.
• Use moving equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks to safe and efficient move inventory around the warehouse and shipping facility.
• Maintains physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts; inspecting equipment; issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement.
• Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling with Wheelhouse.
• Perform periodic inventory checks to ensure the accuracy of database information and minimize the risk of inventory issues.
• Additional job duties as assigned.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Valid driver's license a must
• Proven track record of working successfully in a team environment
• 2+ years of experience in the Logistics field
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
• At least 2 years of experience in a warehouse setting
• Previous marine experience preferred
• Strong experience with inventory software and control systems
