Job Summary:

Our client is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Senior Business Analyst/Product Owner to join their team in Dallas, TX. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the insurance industry, with a deep understanding of industry trends and solutions. The candidate should be a self-starter, able to work independently, and a go-getter with a proven track record of success.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the insurance industry, including regulatory requirements, market trends, and emerging technologies.
• Work with stakeholders to understand business needs and requirements, and translate them into technical requirements for development teams.
• Define and prioritize product features and user stories, and create product roadmaps and timelines.
• Conduct user acceptance testing and provide feedback to development teams.
• Act as the liaison between business stakeholders and development teams, communicating project status and ensuring alignment.
• Continuously monitor and evaluate the performance of products, identifying areas for improvement and making recommendations for enhancements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, QA, design, and project management to ensure successful delivery of products.
• Conduct market research and analysis to identify industry trends and potential solutions.

Qualifications:

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Business, Computer Science, Engineering)
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality products on time and within budget
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
• 8-10 years of experience in business analysis or product ownership, preferably in the insurance industry
