It Business Analyst Jobs

We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented professional to support our US Courts client. Duties and responsibilities include: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements, ensuring they are aligned with strategic objectives. Analyze and evaluate complex business processes, systems, and technologies to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization. Translate business needs into comprehensive system requirements, including functional and non-functional specifications. Facilitate workshops and meetings with business users and technical teams to drive clarity and consensus on requirements. Develop use cases, user stories, process flow diagrams, and other artifacts to effectively communicate requirements to development teams. Conduct impact analysis and feasibility assessments to support decision-making on proposed technology solutions. Collaborate with customer, administrators, developers and QA teams during the system development life cycle (SDLC) to ensure requirements are accurately implemented and tested. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior business analysts, fostering their professional growth and development. Work within Agile teams to ensure collaboration and completion of tasks. Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices related to business analysis and technology solutions. Utilize Agile (Scrum/Kanban) methodologies to develop test cases and test plans. Brief management, staff, and stakeholders on the testing status of user stories and projects. Ensure test plans are prepared and executed to ensure systems are not adversely impacted. Perform manual testing of new and existing functionality; perform integration testing of pre-release versions of applications, develop use cases and test cases, and work with programmers and analysts to resolve problems. Contribute to product and process improvement discussions and the refinement of QA best practices. Required Qualifications : 10+ years of relevant experience. Secure web services development utilizing technologies such as: as SOAP, REST, WSDL, XSD, XML, and/or JSON. Payment Card Industry (PCI) compliance. Development within a Microsoft Server or Microsoft Azure environment. Azure certification required AWS certification preferred. Education Requirement: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field. Master's degree preferred. Clearance Requirement : Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust. Why Join Gunnison?
