forteq North America is currently seeking a Human Resources/Office Assistant at our W. Henrietta, NY location. This position under the general supervision of the Human Resources Manager will perform duties that involve a wide range of support activities for the Human Resources and Finance Department.
Essential Duties:
- Assist the Human Resources Manager with the development and executive of HR/Office duties (employee meetings, new hire orientation, ordering lunches, surveys, training, employee engagement, recognition, ordering of office supplies, etc).
- Assist with the creation of monthly KPIs for Human Resources.
- Assist with the day-to-day operations of Human Resources functions to include scheduling interviews, conduct tours, and communication with candidates.
- Assist the Human Resources Manager with the management and coordination of temporary labor for the Production Floor.
- Perform other administrative duties as assigned.
- Maintain employee files (soft and hard copies). This includes filing.
- Provide clerical/administrative support Human Resources and Finance.
- Assist the Assistant Controller with the preparation of payroll by providing relevant data (review of timecards, absences, leaves, etc)
- Serve as a point of contact to assist employees with issues accessing and using ADP Workforce Now.
Skills/Qualifications
- Excellent written and oral communication ability; ability to speak in front of an audience
- Ability to work well under pressure, to adhere to deadlines and the ability to be flexible
- Evidence of the practice of a high level of confidentiality
- Associates’ Degree required, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- ADP Workforce Now or other ADP Payroll/Time & Attendance platforms.
- Two-Four years of relevant, progressive HR Assistant/Office Assistant experience
- Must be able to flexible at time of work hours
- Working in a manufacturing environment preferred
