Responsibilities Will Include But Not Limited To


TMDA is searching for an experienced HR professional to join our upcoming awards team as a Human Resources Consultant. This is 1099 independent contracting position. The HR Consultant will independently provide strategic human resources consulting to business, operations and HR regarding the implementation of human resource policies and employee relations strategies.


  • Updating HRIS system for employee performance reviews
  • Meeting and presenting recommended changes to leadership team and clients
  • Updating job descriptions
  • Updating employee handbook

Qualifications


  • Collaborating with HR teams to design and plan interventions that facilitate organizational changes.
  • Participating in local and/or organization-wide committees that focus on projects that move the organization forward and towards meeting its strategic goals.
  • Accountable for managing and delivering HR programs and services within the assigned client projects.
  • Experience with HR-related issues and acts as a change agent.
  • Experience partnering with leaders to provide and implement HR initiatives that support management and employees across the organization.


Education
  • Knowledge and understanding of federal, state and local legislation as it applies to human resources and the employment process is required.
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business or related field and at least three years of employee relations experience required.
  • Experience with full cycle human resources is preferred, i.e. recruitment, on-boarding, learning and development, compensation, etc.
  • OR High School Diploma/GED and five years of related experience required.


Travel Requirements


This position will involve no travel unless otherwise requested by the client.
