Radial, the leader in omnichannel commerce technologies and operations has an exciting opening for a Site Director for Service Delivery. Radial’s omnichannel solutions use cutting-edge technology and analytics to optimize the e-commerce end to end processes reducing costs for our customer while enhancing the consumer experience.
The Site Director for Groveport, OH will lead and direct site operations to achieve key goals and objectives and the execution of a business operational plan. Will own fulfillment clients P/Ls, deliver client satisfaction and financials (EBIT). Will have the opportunity to mentor and develop growth of future talent.
Responsibilities:
- Review and follow-up on results of production, efficiency, costs and inventory accuracy
- Coach to ensure career development, productivity and quality objectives are consistently achieved
- Ability to lead, direct and coordinate all activities for operations while managing a high-touch client with hight expectations fulfillment center.
- Develop yearly budget and own site P/L
- Adherence to all applicable Federal, State and Municipal safety and labor law
- Build a culture of continuous improvement through execution of Radial's Operating Model
- Interact with senior management while providing updates and solutions on issues about business impact
- Maintain a working knowledge of all operational processes
- Engage with broader Radial team for support to site operation
- Provide direction and direct leadership support to direct reports.
- Strong and positive interaction with the client
- Develop talent and site succession plans
- Drive high levels of client Satisfaction and Employee Engagement
- Drive safety, policy and procedure adherence
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Proficiency developing metrics planning (good working knowledge of spreadsheets
- Sense of urgency to immediately identify and implement corrections
- Lean thinker, continuous improvement leader
- Organizational agility and good influencing skills
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- High financial acumen with the ability to forecast and manage an annual budget while managing the operational processes within set guidelines
- Hands-on problem-solving skills
- Ability to plan, direct and implement site operations to meet planned KPIs and SLAs
Work Experience & Education:
- Experience in fast paced, high volume, unit-pick fulfillment environment is highly preferred
- Experience leading culture improvements and/or transformation required
- Financial/Cost Management and ownership via operational budget management experience required
- Management of a distribution facility with multi-level leadership and preferably 200+ full-time associates with experience managing 600-1000 seasonal associates preferred.
- Knowledge of WMS Systems a big plus (ideally, Manhattan WMOS and Pyramid WCS)
- Must be proactive, numbers driven and a good anticipated planner
- Bachelor’s degree is required
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive Operations and management experience required
- Ability to understand, organize and thrive in a highly variable volume operation, balancing safety, quality, delivery, and cost in both very low and very high volume periods.
- Experience managing a 3PL fulfillment operation highly preferred, ideally in ecommerce, direct to consumer, business to consumer (D2C/B2C)
- Background and experience in Lean and Continuous Improvement methodology is required
