Job Description

The Human Resources Coordinator helps organize, coordinate, and carry out all Human Resource department projects and processes for the organization. The HR Coordinator will work directly with and assist the Human Resources Team to fulfill a variety of necessary HR tasks. This individual will need to be bilingual and have the ability to communicate in both English and Spanish.


**Please note, this is NOT a remote position and will require the individual to be in the office 5 days a week.**


Essential Functions: (The reason this job exists is to perform these functions. These functions are performed regularly, seriously impacts other jobs, and there are a limited number of employees whom performance of the function can be distributed).

  • Responsible for I-9 Administration to include the completion of I-9 forms, verify I-9 documentation and maintain compliance of all I-9 files.
  • Assist with the recruitment and interview process by coordinating internal and external job postings, reviewing resumes, performing telephone interviews, reference checks, print employee ID, and parking administration.
  • Communicates with other employees, departments, administrators, and applicants for the purpose of providing information and assistance concerning employment, procedures, personnel records and related legal requirements.
  • Processes new hires using UltiPro HRIS.
  • Processes payroll action forms and ensures proper approvals.
  • Support with all incoming traffic by being the first point of contact for employees on any HR related inquiries.
  • Performs recordkeeping and clerical functions (e.g. Scheduling, copying, scanning, faxing, data entry, etc.) for the purpose of supporting the needs of the Company.
  • Assist with the new-hire process including the organizing and facilitation of Production new hire orientation, creating new employee files, administering employee handbooks and ensuring all necessary paperwork is properly filled out, entered and maintained in the HRIS/Payroll System.
  • Supports with offer letters and onboarding paperwork (e-mails, background check, and drug test screenings).
  • Support with all employee engagement initiatives.
  • Maintain personnel files in compliance with all applicable legal requirements.
  • Liaison with employees regarding day to day issues and concerns.
  • Process Employment Verifications.
  • Coordinates posting of open positions through various recruiting/staffing methods.
  • Perform all other duties and/or projects as assigned by a supervisor or manager.


Education/Certification:

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferred or equivalent in business, Human Resources or related field.

Experience/ Knowledge Required:

  • Strong time management skills, willing to initiate work independently when needed.
  • Strong business acumen, critical evaluation, ethical practice, problem solving and strong analytical skills.
  • 1-3 years of HR experience, highly preferred.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
  • Excellent organization, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to appropriately handle sensitive and confidential information.
  • Bi-lingual English and Spanish, required.
  • Proficient with MS Office: Word, PowerPoint, Excel.
  • Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a positive and helpful attitude.
  • Highly organized and efficient worker.
  • Ability to follow directions accurately and without hesitation.
  • Ability to convey a positive and professional image to applicants and employees.
