Job Summary
Are you ready to be the heartbeat of our organization, working closely with various departments and assisting our General Manager? As our Human Resources & Administrative Assistant, you'll play a crucial role in fostering a positive and engaging work environment. You'll have the flexibility of a hybrid remote/in-person position, allowing you to work comfortably while collaborating with our vibrant team.
Responsibilities
Be the driving force behind our recruiting efforts by assisting in candidate screening and providing valuable hiring recommendations to the General Manager.
Welcome new employees to our family by organizing orientations that instill a sense of purpose and enthusiasm for our organizational objectives.
Ensure seamless onboarding by managing new-hire paperwork with precision and care.
Stay up-to-date with employment legislation to ensure compliance, and effectively communicate company policies and standards to our valued employees.
Maintain accurate employee records and confidential information, supporting the smooth functioning of our HR systems.
Collaborate on administering compensation, benefits, and performance management systems to recognize and reward our talented team.
Address employee inquiries promptly, ensuring they are well-informed about our processes, policies, and programs.
Identify potential employee relations issues and recommend solutions to create a harmonious work environment.
Be the dependable point of contact for various administrative tasks, including managing office supplies, coordinating shipments, and handling company communications.
Maintain efficiency in financial and sales reporting, and provide valuable support to our Accounts Specialist.
Qualifications And Expectations
Reside in central New Jersey (Monmouth/Middlesex/Ocean/Mercer counties) to become an integral part of our local team.
Ideally possess a 2-year college degree, with at least 2 years of human resources experience in an assistant or associate role.
Showcase exceptional organizational and time management skills, along with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are a must, as you'll be engaging with various team members and external parties.
Demonstrate active listening, a willingness to learn, and the ability to make thoughtful judgments.
Uphold a strong ethical foundation and exhibit integrity in all your interactions.
Experience in a similar business environment would be advantageous, as well as proficiency in ADP and QuickBooks software.
Be highly skilled in Microsoft Office applications and type at least 60 words per minute.
