Learning Consultant - Remote | Wfh

Join an innovative and dynamic team dedicated to transforming learning and development! We are seeking a passionate and experienced professional to take on the role of Learning and Development Consultant. In this position, you will be responsible for designing, delivering, and evaluating engaging learning programs for both instructor-led and web-based training. You will conduct comprehensive needs assessments, develop cutting-edge curriculums, and provide expert guidance on instructional technologies. You'll have the flexibility to thrive in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
Needs Assessment: Conduct complex needs assessments for individuals and teams, offering ongoing analysis of learning programs across various positions.
Instructional Design & Development: Create and develop dynamic course curricula, ensuring the delivery of impactful content and materials. Oversee the development of curricula by fellow learning consultants, and identify opportunities for improvement.
Training Delivery: Facilitate professional-level programs for employees and management, leveraging your expertise to deliver exceptional learning experiences.
Program Evaluation: Evaluate the effectiveness and desired outcomes of training programs, utilizing feedback to drive continuous improvement and refinement.
Consulting: Collaborate with management and teams to align learning goals with organizational objectives. Stay informed about emerging trends in learning methods, providing guidance and support to ensure success.
Leadership and Support: Provide leadership and mentorship to associate and intermediate-level training consultants. Lead learning and instructional design projects as needed.
Basic Qualifications
Experience: Minimum of eight (8) years of progressive experience in learning, instructional design, instructional delivery, instructional technology, or e-learning applications.
Education: Bachelor's degree with emphasis in human resources, training, e-learning, training/learning technology, education, or a related field; or four (4) years of directly related field experience.
Additional Requirements: Demonstrated extensive knowledge of business operations, management practices, human resources management trends, and practices. Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets, and scheduling software.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience: Minimum of twelve (12) years of progressive experience in learning, instructional design, instructional delivery, instructional technology, or e-learning applications. Health care experience is a plus.
Education: Master's degree with emphasis in human resources, training, e-learning, training/learning technology, education, or a related field; or two (2) years of directly related field experience.
