Job Description
Non-CA Pay Range (Annual):
At Infinera, your base pay is one part of your total compensation package. Your actual base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. This role may be eligible for equity grants, discretionary bonuses, or commission payments. The amount of these incentives is based on the terms of the Company’s incentive plans, the Company’s financial performance, and/or individual employee job performance.

This is a permanent, full time position. Not a contract position.
HR Systems data analyst serves as a subject matter expert (SME) related to all HR reporting and integration needs. Helps achieve our goal of empowering HR stakeholders within Infinera to make data-driven people strategy decisions with confidence.
Workday specific responsibilities:
  • Experience with Workday HCM modules including Recruiting, Talent, Performance and Compensation.
  • Keep up with market trends and tool innovations and investigate possible methods of improving and/or increasing the automation of the reporting process
  • Create and maintain standardized real-time dashboards displaying key metrics and insights for HR and business leaders in a visually appealing manner
  • Be the one source of truth for all reporting metrics (lead the preparation and delivery of all HR reports weekly, monthly, quarterly, and/or annually), ensuring alignment across deliverables, and adherence to overall reporting strategy. Work with VP and HRIS Director to ensure confidentiality and appropriate security access across all HR systems.
  • Experience with all forms of advanced Workday reporting (Matrix, Dashboards, Composite, XSTL) and payroll integration tools like PECI.
  • Help monitor the effectiveness of reporting products, automate and modify existing reports, or operationalize new reports as needed. Help preserve data integrity by running queries, analyzing data and help with Payroll reconciliation.
  • Technical knowledge of Workday Report writer, Workday Studio, Workday EIB, custom and calculated fields.
  • Clearly communicate insights to key stakeholders and influence these teams to take action based on your recommendations.
  • Act as functional lead for Workday reporting by ensuring key stakeholders receive and understand needed metrics (e.g., Time-off Accrual and liabilities, recruitment - time to fill, cost per hire, Compliance training completion).
Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of previous experience working in HRIS (Human Resource Information Systems)
  • Computer savvy and Microsoft Excel proficient
  • Technical knowledge of Workday Report writer, Workday Studio, Workday EIB, custom and calculated fields.
  • Experience creating/configuring payroll integrations.
  • Keep up with market trends and tool innovations and investigate possible methods of improving and/or increasing the automation of the reporting process
  • Experience with Advanced Compensation-creating/configuring merit plans, one-time payment plans.
  • Experience with all forms of advanced Workday reporting (Matrix, Dashboards, Composite, XSTL) and payroll integration tools like PECI.
  • Clearly communicate insights to key stakeholders and influence these teams to take action based on your recommendations.
  • Experience configuring Outlook scheduling.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Human Resources Management
  • Experience creating and configuring offer letters and employment agreement.
