JOB DESCRIPTION
If you enjoy supporting HR functions with strategy around configurations, leading a project to completion and working with the HR team to support end to end strategy, this is the position for you!
As the Workday HR Technology and Operations Analyst, you will have an opportunity to improve business efficiency and effectiveness through HR technology, business process optimization, data, and reporting. You will be a point-of-contact for various functional areas within Workday and work with a broad range of client groups, responding to business requests, and utilizing the systems and tools to fulfill them. The functional areas supported include, but are not limited to, Core HR, Advanced Compensation, Recruiting, Benefits, Talent, Payroll, and Time Tracking and Absence.
Responsibilities
  • Process mass data changes by utilizing EIB’s for data loads
  • Assess new Workday releases for changes that will impact current business processes. Evaluate new features/functions for rollout to end-users and recommend solutions/alternatives to mitigate business risk relative to these changes
  • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of HR processes and data
  • Execute system enhancements, including new functionality rollouts and modifications of existing functionality
  • Design and execute report writing function by creating standard custom reports and dashboards
  • Perform day-to-day operations that include, research, review, and analysis of effectiveness and efficiency of the existing HRIS system, Workday
  • Serve as subject matter expert to business end-users, addressing user questions and troubleshooting issues
  • Document processes via user guides and knowledge-based articles
Requirements
  • Knowledge of relational database concepts preferred
  • 5+ years of experience with HR technology
  • Knowledge of recruiting systems preferred
  • Able to effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Ability to combine HR functional knowledge with strong Workday technical expertise to drive process and system efficiencies/best practices, promote data integrity, and ensure delivery of accurate reporting of data to the business
  • 3+ years of HR technology operations experience
  • Strong knowledge of standard HR operations and administration practices
  • Knowledge of Payroll systems preferred
  • Experience with HR systems and applications, including experience supporting Workday
  • Ability to work with sensitive and confidential data
  • Ability to participate as a team player and provide superior customer support
