About The Role
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Artist Development and Education to join our team at BandLab Technologies. In this role, you will develop and execute strategies to support artists in their growth, monetization, and education across our suite of products and platforms. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the music industry, strong relationships within the artist community, and a proven track record of building successful artist partnerships, collaborations, and educational initiatives.
Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive artist development and education strategy that aligns with BandLab Technologies' mission, vision, and business objectives
• Assist in building and maintain strong relationships with artists, managers, agents, and other industry stakeholders, serving as additional support to the team for artist partnerships, educational programs, and collaborations
• Collaborate with our community and customer support teams to ensure that artist needs are met and their feedback is incorporated into our products and services
• Regularly report on artist development and education metrics, evaluating the success of initiatives and partnerships, and providing insights to inform future strategies and decisions
• Work closely with internal teams to support artist development, marketing, monetization and education
• As appropriate, represent BandLab Technologies at industry events, conferences, and meetings, building our presence and credibility within the artist community
• Foster a culture of innovation, creativity, and collaboration within the artist development and education team, promoting a supportive work environment
• Design and deliver educational programs, resources, and content, such as podcasts and tutorials, to help artists maximize their success on and off the platform.
• Monitor industry trends and artist activities to identify emerging opportunities and potential collaborations

Requirements

• Strong existing relationships within the artist community and a proven track record of securing high-impact partnerships, collaborations, and educational initiatives
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with artists and industry stakeholders
• Bachelor's degree in Music, Business, Marketing, or a related field
• Deep understanding of the music industry landscape, including market trends, key players, and emerging opportunities
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
• Strategic and creative thinker, with a results-driven approach to problem-solving and decision-making
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in artist development, music education, music industry partnerships, or a similar role within the music or entertainment industry
