O Positiv is a Los Angeles-based health & wellness brand built on the idea that small acts of self-care produce positive outcomes. We’ve created the first-ever PMS gummy vitamin, FLO Vitamins, designed to make periods and the symptoms that come with them more tolerable. Your Role

The Head of Growth will run the engine of marketing growth for O Positiv as a company. This is a highly strategic and analytical role for someone interested in understanding how companies can scale their revenue by orders of magnitude.

This role owns performance marketing and sales activities which drive customer demand and acquire new customers for O Positiv’s line of women’s wellness products. This includes owning strategy, development, testing frameworks, execution, and analysis of performance marketing plans, including paid campaigns across social, search, and affiliate. Responsibilities will include optimizing campaign performance, coordinating new campaigns & creatives, and allocating budgets.

We are looking for someone who is hyper-analytical and data-obsessed, with a positive, entrepreneurial spirit. The ideal candidate can manage and own the performance of multiple acquisition channels, is able to work with multiple stakeholders, and can ensure all projects are executed within deadlines. As the Head of Growth, you’ll be responsible for staying on top of industry trends and making data-informed decisions to deliver against sharp KPIs. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and startup culture, and is excited to set and meet aggressive goals.

The Head of Growth reports to the Chief Brand Officer and will work cross-functionally within the organization to further expand marketing efforts and develop our product and brand.


Responsibilities and Duties

Own the acquisition strategy

  • Iterate and test messaging and tactics to better optimize costs to acquire customers
  • Deploy large budgets in performance media campaigns
  • Determine where potential customers spend their time and design strategies to reach and acquire them


Run an analytics and insights function

  • Figure out how to look for signs of successful campaigns and actions to take to scale
  • Evolve the organization’s knowledge of performance and how to predict success
  • Design processes and dashboards to understand performance across a diverse set of channels


Lead a media team

  • Design processes to steer and optimize team activities
  • Lead and coach expert team members and understand how to grow their capabilities
  • Oversee a large and growing team of media managers who run performance marketing campaigns


Qualifications and Skills

Experience:

  • Interest in scaling the revenue of start ups for successful exit
  • Experience with data analysis (e.g. Excel)
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 2+ years experience at a top tier management consultancy or investment bank

  • Strong time management and prioritization skills
  • Excitement for startups and building from the ground up
  • Team-player, hard-working, organized, and goal-oriented
  • Strong leadership & communication skills: listen, mentor, and teach by example ○ Ability to manage multiple moving pieces
  • Thoughtful and self-reflective, willingness to learn
  • Adaptable to new social platforms and advertising technologies


Additional Preferred Experience and Skills:

  • Startup and/or e-commerce experience is a plus
  • Passion for e-commerce, consumer retail and/or digital marketing is a plus


Hours and Compensation

The anticipated base compensation range for this role will be $120k - $180k. Compensation will be commensurate with the candidate's experience and local market rates.
