Overview
Ventures Events is seeking an experienced account manager to help manage event accounts for our clients . Ventures Events is an event production company specializing in delivering world-class events. We constantly strive to exceed expectations, create unforgettable memories, and generate new revenue streams while leveraging our reputable and institutional brands. Our events inspire pride and progressive innovation throughout the ever-changing industry . BASE SALARY: $60,000 - $65,000 annually
Job Responsibilities
  • Builds sales decks and/or coordinates with graphic designer as needed for customized pitches when required.
  • Prepares post-event recap and renewal decks showing value and ROI from sponsored event
  • Schedules and manage the plan for client onboarding and quarterly check-ins . Manages follow-ups for pending renewals (custom assets or examples, revised decks, decision deadline). 
  • May assist Sales Leads as needed on sales presentations, local sales support and training. 
  • Ensures sponsor fulfillment tracker s are up to date and all sponsor deliverables are being fulfilled.
  • Ensures sponsor deliverables are being executed and integrated into shows where needed (i.e.: ads, websites, email, ROS, scripts, social, etc ). Works with client to get necessary show info ( ie : schedule CEO recordings)
  • Enhance department and organization's reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
  • Works with Sales to manage the client relationship, develop sales pitches, monitor and upda te trackers. , and much more.
  • Ability to understand and implement Smartsheet’s technology into daily work routine.
  • Tracks and prepares fulfillment reports and recap decks for clients; manages fulfillment conversations with clients. 
  • Works with all clients to get assets for event deliverables and creative for all direct advertising and tracks said assets.
  • Must be able to multi-task and work on multiple events and clients simultaneously.
  • Grab screenshots along the way of sponsor posts, ads and engagement to add to recap decks.
Other Requirements
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal departments and external clients .
  • Ability to exercise the authority to make sound executive decisions quickly during event execution (with or without prior approval).
  • A positive attitude and team first spirit is required. Must be able to work closely with team members over the phone, in video conference and in person.
  • Ability to think strategically and operationally
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think outside of the box are essential.
  • Ability to lead event setup and execution in markets across the country .
  • Exercise personal intellectual discretion and judgement while working with clients across the country with very little oversight.
  • Necessary to be a self-initiator with the ability to manage time and schedules both at home and on the road.
  • Travel required. (* approximately 10 events per year)
  • Purchase event materials as needed.
  • Protect and represent Ventures Events’ character and integrity with the highest level of professionalism as an event industry leader.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Maintain and submit expense reports as needed.

The annualized base salary for this role will range between $51,300 and $120,750.  Variable compensation is not reflected in these figures and based on the role, may be applicable. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, location, and union representation, if applicable.
