For the below responsibilities, the Manager will support the Sr Director of Events in the following areas. Under the leadership of the Sr Manager, the Manager will play either a lead or supporting role for each responsibility.

• Establish oneself as a subject matter expert with respect to Industry marketing and event logistics.
• Create and maintain enthusiastic, cooperative, professional, and teamwork-structured environment.
• Create and execute strategy for brand event tradeshows.
• Sourcing and logistical management of external and motivational speakers
• Monthly reconciliation of corporate meeting cards
• Drive specialty programs for the network
• Work with a wider marketing team to create robust event websites with supporting information to drive network attendance.
• Support the coordination of ordering and shipments of assets, promotional items and collateral needed for events.
• Own, track and maintain detailed event budgets including invoice management.
• Support the development of reception themes, coordinating specialty decor, and entertainment, and creating wow moments for the network.
• Lead event debrief sessions including detailed financial recap and follow up strategies.
• Execution of all contracts for event vendors, speakers, entertainers, etc.
• Management of all onsite event logistics including contractors, vendors, staff, and suppliers
• Manage internal staff responsibilities before and during the events.
• Creation and management of hotel and AV specs, supporting logistical components of brand events in collaboration with the Sr Events Director
• Management of Food and Beverage selection while adhering to the negotiated budget allotment.
• Oversee registration processes before and during all brand events.
• Manage vendors for best quality, consistency and execution of brand image.
• Work closely with Communications team to drive event attendance through messaging and regular network emails and newsletters.
• Oversee housing process and room blocks for events.
• Support of the full Experiential Events & Brand Engagement Team on projects as needed.
• Lead experiential marketing activities for brand and industry events including pre-planning and onsite support.
• In collaboration with the Sr Manager, drive all event strategies through the creation and ownership of all event programs of events, project plans and agendas.
• Develop event content and agendas for General Sessions & breakouts in partnership with learning and operations teams.
• Working with venues, fire marshals, vendors, staff and sponsors to create an elevated experience for all attending.
• Travel to and onsite management of all in person event experiences
• Drive signage plan for events managing orders with vendor and supporting Sr Events Director in signage and build journey design.
• Support the planning of client's participation in industry event tradeshows and receptions.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High energy level, low maintenance individual with an ability to handle multiple projects and problem solve in a fast-paced environment.
• Superior written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to travel to in person events.
• Strong time management skills and ability to perform under pressure and meet deadlines.
• 5+ years of experience in event management
• Ability to perceive big picture in addition to attention to details and specific touches.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Superior skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
• Extensive Stakeholder and C-suite leadership management experience
• Experience with project management
• Vendor management experience
