Director Of Strategy Jobs

Insite Property Group is seeking a Director of Strategy who will be a motivated and analytical leader reporting to the Partners and contributing to set the financial vision and strategy of the organization. This person will work closely with functional leaders while developing and ensuring the accuracy of various financial models that will drive operational and strategic decisions.
Objective:
The Director of Strategy will play an integral role in improving and adding value to the financial roadmap of the organization while working alongside the executive team.
Responsibilities:

• Synthesizes company’s financial performance in monthly performance package for the Partners of InSite Property Group
• Maintains a current understanding of the debt markets and its application to the real estate portfolio.
• Manages key financial processes, including annual budgeting, forecasting, monthly performance analysis, headcount planning, and product forecasting.
• Supports senior leadership in developing and executing the financial strategy of the company with recommendations supported by quantitative analysis with qualitative takeaways.
• Leads evaluation of new business and capital investment opportunities.
• Partners with senior leaders to build annual budgets and forecasts.
• Leads quarterly valuation process of the company’s real estate portfolio
• Provides key partnership to the Accounting and Finance team, and transforms InSite Property Group into becoming data-driven organization, while providing insights to leadership
• Conducts research and provides insights on competitors, financial and business trends to the senior leaders.
• Supports fund raising team with high-impact investor requests.
• Collaborates with Ops teams on target setting, financial plans, etc.
• Analyzes financial and operational results to better understand the company’s overall financial health & performance.
• Handles special projects and initiatives as assigned by the CFO

Other Functions:

• Must be willing to travel to other company sites as necessary
• Other duties as assigned
• Must be able to work extended hours and weekends as needed

Salary Range: $150,000 - $200,000
Requirements
Skills and Experience:

• Strategic thinker who has desire to go above and beyond what is required, and dedication to the team and Company’s success
• Agile and able to pivot quickly with the changing environment.
• Collaborative and team oriented
• Experience with formal reporting requirements to investors, boards of directors, and other stakeholders
• Superior interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with a variety of both internal and external teams.
• Experience and strong track record of developing and mentoring a team of professionals into a high-performance team
• Must thrive in entrepreneurial fast paced, rapid change, hyper-growth environments.
• Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Management, or equivalent work experience
• 5-10 years of relevant experience in analytical corporate finance roles, including corporate FP&A, private equity, and investment banking
• Fluent in English

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
