-- MISSION --
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Director to join our passionate and innovative client in Totowa, New Jersey.
-- RESPONSIBILITIES --
- Stay updated on competitor information, market trends, and local/regional laws and procedures.
- Lead client meetings and negotiations, providing support for product presentations.
- Collaborate with the marketing team on product design, new product launches, and sales promotion activities.
- Manage relationships both internally and externally, collaborating with the US Sales & Marketing Team, Customer Service & Operations, and key accounts such as retailers, wholesalers, foodservice providers, distributors, brokers, and buyers.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of our sales organization, including planning, implementation, and evaluation of strategic business plans.
- Set goals to improve distribution, increase market share, and enhance profitability.
- Drive brand expansion and achieve annual targets while working towards long-term strategic market goals.
- Attend global meetings at our headquarters in Italy and other locations as required.
- Take full P&L responsibility to deliver the company's financial objectives, including monthly P&L per customer.
- Increase sales revenue while monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs).
-- REQUIREMENTS --
- Proficient in expansion sales strategies, new product launches, and brand development.
- At least 5 years of experience in a senior management position.
- Bachelor's degree required, MBA is a plus.
- Full accountability for P&L management.
- Proven track record in all sales channels: Retail, Wholesale, Food Service, Industrial, and Private Label.
- Solid contacts with Buyers, Distributors, Clients, and broker management.
- Experience in e-commerce is desirable.
- Experienced and high-performing Director of Sales in the US Specialty Food market.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience working in the Food industry.
