Zambon USA Ltd. is looking for a Senior Director, Next Wave Assets Marketing who serves as the Brand Lead for Zambon USA, Ltd. affiliate of Zambon S.P.A.
The role, reporting to VP, US Marketing & Sales, will be highly collaborative in nature and will be closely aligned to the Corporate Launch Readiness function and global marketing lead for the BOS / L-CsA program.
The SD, Next Wave Assets Marketing will serve as the Launch Readiness lead for the US Commercial team and will directly manage all Marketing related preparations for our lead product, L-CsA. The role will lead strategic planning of marketing efforts, lead a team responsible for tactical execution, and will have shared accountability to achieve the forecast commitments for the US business.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage all vendor relationships supporting US marketing activities
- Co-lead (with Global) development of L-CsA brand strategy and tactical planning
- Lead US launch readiness – define key milestones and engage cross-functional partners to ensure complete tactical planning and budget allocations
- Manage US marketing budget and align with Finance colleagues
- Lead the continuous enhancement of marketing practices to improve efficiency, test and implement new ideas, embrace new technologies (AI, Digital, etc…)
- Work with US and Global colleagues in Business Insights & Analytics to ensure that appropriate insights are developed and used to inform brand strategy and tactics
- Lead US marketing planning and preparation for pipeline assets related to Zambon’s Next Wave Assets portfolio – including lifecycle management planning for L-Cs
- Track and report on KPIs for the L-CsA launch
- Develop the US marketing team to meet the unique needs of L-CsA commercialization to include identification and definition of key roles, hiring, leading, and developing team members
- Ensure that all US marketing activities are conducted in a compliant and ethical manner
- Contribute as an active and leading member of cross-functional team developing the product forecast and coordinating with Supply Chain related to demand forecasting
- Play a leading role with all external partners such as PARI related to alignment of commercial strategy, alliance management and communications, etc..
- Lead the development of key rare-disease focused marketing competencies for the Global Zambon organization
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Academic & Professional Experiences
- Small pharma experience preferred. Start-up experience is a plus
- Product launch experience
- At least 12 years of progressive US-based sales and marketing leadership experience, preferably in a pharmaceutical sales and marketing environment
- Experience with orphan or rare disease is highly desired
- Experience with drug-device products is highly desired
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related discipline/MBA preferred
Technical Skills

- Strong understanding of US FDA regulations regarding product promotion
- Outstanding marketing acumen and business aptitude
- Vendor management skills and experience
- Project management skills – Development and management of KPIs, budgets
- High level of competence with Microsoft Office tools (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)

Location: NJ – New Jersey (Morristown) – USA (Hybrid working way)
