Director of Sales and Operations - Construction/Demolition

Alta Contracting is looking for an experienced Director of Sales & Operations to join our team!
About Us:
Alta Services (dba Alta Contracting) is a full-service demolition contractor providing commercial and industrial demolition services. With over 20 years in the construction industry, Alta is well-versed in all phases of commercial interior and exterior demolition. We have a team of experienced labor force to understand the needs of our customer and are looking for an ambitious, experienced Director of Operations to join us.
Job Summary:
The purpose of this role is to drive accountability, manage and support sales, construction and field operations efforts within the Company, while developing strategic operations to achieve company goals.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Actively manage labor to ensure best labor utilization, providing accurate labor reports.
- Proactively identify project risk and develop and drive recovery plans to minimize damage to all aspects of the project, including impact on schedule, financial results, client relationships, project team relationships, etc.
- Educate and enforce best practices and construction activities, including policies, protocols, and procedures.
- Oversee all the sales operations, coaching sales team on sales conversion, and delivering on financial goals.
- Responsible for ensuring all operations are performed in a uniform and profitable manner and oversees the entire project portfolio for the company.
- Constant review of processes to develop efficient workflows for project teams.
- Project planning, scheduling, and executing of field, operations, and sales activities.
- Controlling quality and costs.
- Other related duties, as assigned.
Experience & Qualifications:
- 5+ years in sales and operations management experience
- Must be able to legally work in the US and pass a background check.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- 8+ years experience in construction and/or demolition.
Required Skills & Abilities:
- Effective leadership skills and ability to direct others according to company standards.
- Effective multitasking and organizational skills.
- Must be good with multi-tasking and handling multiple projects at the same time.
- Ability to to interact with employees and vendors in a professional manner.
- Strong verbal, written, and oral communication skills.

Job Details: This is a full-time position on-site, Monday through Friday. This position would report directly to the Vice President.
