Unified Women’s Healthcare is seeking a knowledgeable leader to oversee human resources for our FL market, Florida Women’s Care, with the potential to also oversee our Texas and Georgia markets. Come join a growing dynamic company with an amazing mission!
Responsibilities
The Human Resource Director will plan, lead, direct, develop, and coordinate the policies, activities, and staff of the MSO (Management Service Organization) Human Resource (HR) department for the FL market ensuring legal compliance and implementation of the organization’s mission and talent strategy, championing the company’s culture and stimulating employee engagement.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
  • Provide constructive and timely performance reviews.
  • Handle discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.
  • Responsible for the oversight of the recruitment, onboarding, and training of new staff.
  • Create and implement talent strategies that support company goals.
Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Conduct research and analysis of organizational trends including review of reports and metrics from the organization’s human resource information system (HRIS) or talent management system.
  • Perform other duties as required.
  • Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law; applies this knowledge to communicate changes in policy, practice, and resources to upper management.
  • Partner with internal technical experts for effective and sound service delivery by market.
  • Partner with the Vice President, MSO Human Resources to develop and implement a centralized employee relations function.
  • Identify staffing and recruiting needs through relationships with internal and external partners; develop and execute best practices for hiring and talent management.
  • Plan, lead, develop, coordinate, and implement policies, processes, training, and initiatives to support the organization’s human resource compliance and strategy needs.
  • Drive physician satisfaction for each market via the smooth execution of all HR services (Payroll, benefits, new hire on-boarding).
  • Support mergers and acquisitions work for Unified and its affiliates.
  • Support professional development, training, and certification activities for HR staff.
  • Monitor and ensure the organization’s compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews and modifies policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  • Serve as the technical expert for resolving HR service related matters.
  • Manage a team of HR professionals.
  • Attend Clinical Governance Board meetings on behalf of Unified and the HR function.
  • Partner or manage the administration of human resource programs for assigned organizations including, but not limited to, compensation, benefits, and leave (ADA); onboarding, exit interview process, disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; workers compensation, unemployment compensation management, occupational health and safety; and training and development.
  • Collaborates with the executive team to understand the organization’s goals and strategy related to staffing, recruiting, and retention.
  • Primary contact on HR service related matters for the affiliated customers.

Education and Experience:
  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP a plus.
  • At least five years of human resource management experience required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field a plus.
