Assembly is looking for a Director, Digital Partnerships. The Director, Digital Partnerships is a management position accountable for all aspects of their assigned client’s digital campaigns. The candidate will have “ownership” of the client’s media services relationship and a staff. Must work closely with partner media channels to set holistic strategies for their accounts. The role has elements of media planning, performance analysis, staff management and client service. The ideal candidate will have a media planning background, proven leadership skills, a solid track record of developing and executing media strategy. The ability to multi-task while under tight deadlines with team members from various disciplines is required. The Director, Digital Partnerships is responsible for managing a planning team – developing their skills, evaluating their performance and managing their growth. It is expected that a Director will participate in the development of the department, ensuring the correct processes are in place for efficient execution of all day-to-day work. The Director is also responsible for the revenue growth of the accounts they manage and work with the Account Management lead to maintain client confidence.


Responsibilities:

  • Lead creation of all important plans and presentations
  • Responsible for overall media objectives and strategies that fulfill client business goals
  • Present complex concepts and metrics in a user-friendly way
  • Communicate/Troubleshoot changes to the field and technical teams relating to our tracking methodology
  • Work closely with media to negotiate packages to offer the best value to clients
  • Have a clear and technical knowledge of vendor’s strengths and weaknesses
  • Analyze the results and make optimization recommendations while the media is live and use empirical data to improve results for the next buying cycle
  • Look at our products and associated available metrics and advises how to use them / integrate them with overall platform
  • Oversight on all aspects of client’s display services
  • Demonstrate thought leadership and innovation for enhanced media plans and results


Requirements:

  • 2+ years of people management experience required
  • Be a self-starter who can work independently as well as part of a team
  • 3+ years digital or online advertising industry experience preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, specifically in Media Plan presentations
  • Programmatic Experience (DMP, DSP, exchange)
  • Proven leadership skills and management experience (have managed a team of 3+)
  • 6-8 years media experience including at least 3 years in interactive planning
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities in an ever-changing environment and meet tight deadlines
  • Diverse account background including some direct response and awareness
  • Knowledge of social metrics and platforms
  • PMD/FMP management experience
  • Experience using comScore and 3rd party ad serving technology (i.e., DoubleClick)
  • Ability to work with MS Office product suite including exceptional PowerPoint and Excel skills, Access a plus
  • 5+ years (combined) experience with online media planning and web/media analytics and reporting

In order to comply with equal pay and salary transparency laws in various locations, we believe the target range of base compensation in all locations within the United States for this role is $114,750 - $157,782. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and location.
