Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and versatile National Retail Director to spearhead the expansion of Vitapod into retail channels across the USA. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced startup environment where you'll be instrumental in driving growth. As the National Retail Director, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and external partners to develop and execute our retail strategy. This position, based in Syosset, NY, offers a full-time opportunity with flexibility for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales growth strategy for retail channels, including mass, club, and convenience stores, among others.
- Foster long-term customer relationships, providing exceptional service and support.
- Drive innovation and identify new opportunities to expand market presence and increase overall growth.
- Establish and manage key accounts, ensuring strong relationships are built and sales targets are achieved.
- Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to create and implement promotional calendars and creative initiatives to drive sales growth.
- Take ownership of the Retail P&L, collaborating with the finance team to forecast and optimize financial performance.
- Create and maintain weekly KPI reports to identify trends, efficiencies, and growth opportunities, sharing insights with the broader team.
Requirements:
- Strong analytical skills and ability to leverage data and insights to inform business strategy.
- Demonstrated track record of achieving multi-year sales growth and successfully managing customer relationships.
- Self-starter who is driven to deliver meaningful results and willing to go the extra mile.
- Detail-oriented, articulate communicator, with strong organizational skills and a focus on accuracy.
- Thrives in a fast-paced and dynamic company culture, exhibiting a strong work ethic.
- Proven experience negotiating contracts with strategic customers, preferably in a workplace environment.
- Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in the consumer products industry or related field within consumer-packaged goods.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
