The Role
As a Data Reporting Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting our mission to create lasting positive change in disaster management. Working closely with both internal and external clients, you'll have the opportunity to shape the future of disaster resilience. In this 100% remote role, you'll be involved in developing innovative low-code, no-code data systems and crafting end-to-end data visualizations to address our clients' needs.
Responsibilities
Design and develop cutting-edge low-code, no-code data systems (QuickBase) for our projects in Austin, TX, and beyond.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and clarify data and reporting requirements, ensuring a smooth development process.
Perform extensive system analysis and data profiling to identify valuable data sources and insights.
Create and implement comprehensive data visualizations and reporting solutions to empower decision-making.
Ensure data validation and quality assurance to meet technical requirements and maintain high standards.
Provide technical assistance and troubleshooting, supporting clients throughout the implementation process.
Generate business reports and insightful analyses, driving performance improvements and forecasting staffing needs.
Prepare impactful presentations and documentation, including dashboard mockups, charts, and process flow diagrams.
Qualifications
Associate's Degree in a technical field (e.g., statistics, finance, mathematics, data science) or similar experience.
2+ years of experience in developing and managing relational databases and/or CRM systems (QuickBase, Salesforce, MS Dynamics).
Proficiency in MS Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, and Word, with advanced formulae and data visualization skills.
Strong analytical skills with experience in handling large datasets or database systems.
Ability to travel up to 10% within the U.S.
Preferred Skills (Advantageous)
Bachelor's Degree in a technical field (e.g., statistics, finance, mathematics, data science).
3+ years of experience as a data analyst or reporting analyst.
Familiarity with QuickBase or similar low-code, no-code platforms and Microsoft Dynamics CRM.
Proficiency in BI reporting tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
Experience in business process mapping and project management software.
Understanding of disaster management, HUD, and/or FEMA funded recovery programs.
