Creative Project Manager (US - Contract)
Salary/Hourly Rate:
$46/hr - $51/hr
Onsite/Remote:
This is a fully remote position.
Position Overview:
As a Creative Project Manager on the Design team, you will be responsible for independently managing the day-to-day aspect of our email, landing page and programmatic creative projects. You will drive the creative workflow from briefing to delivery of final assets and maintaining organization excellence and clear communication with your team and stakeholders every step of the way. This is a 6-month temporary assignment.
This position requires a highly proactive, meticulously organized, self-starter who can juggle up to 20-30 projects simultaneously without missing a step. The ideal person for this role has an expertise in working in a creative or agency environment on CRM/e-mail campaigns as well as experience in working with Jira.
Responsibilities of the Creative Project Manager:
- Monitor all project milestones and be the driving force to ensure creative is approved and delivered on time
- Independently steward day-to-day project management of multiple design projects, serving as primary point of contact with creatives, business partners and leaders
- Manage project intake of design related requests related to your line of business, assess resourcing and prioritization needs
- Anticipate and mange potential blockers across concept development, production, and delivery phases; flag to appropriate partners and proactively find solutions
- Operate with a sense of urgency and proactiveness to ensure work is completed according to deadlines
- Maintain detailed and clear organization of your projects in Jira, monitoring tickets, setting up tasks/sub-tasks and responding to comments promptly
- Maintain a high level of attention to detail, reviewing all work to ensure it complies with legal and all creative updates and revisions are accurate
- Work across UK and US timezones. The hours are skewed to early US (West Coast) mornings/later UK evenings to allow for maximum hours spent with the UK and US offices
- Set up and lead project kick-off meetings, creative review meetings, leadership review meetings; take and distribute detailed notes and action items in a timely matter
- Champion creative workflow processes and tools to ensure consistency
- Work with business partners to ensure accurate briefs are provided and dig in to understand the asks for the creative team within the brief
- Manage localization and relevant trackers to ensure creative is versioned properly
- Build project workback schedules for each of your projects and share with the appropriate creative team, business partners and stakeholders
Qualifications for the Creative Project Manager:
- Someone who thrives in maintaining organization, finding efficiencies and building, improving and simplifying processes
- Effective and concise communicator
- Resilient and constructive when faced with change; able to shift approaches when needed in response to unexpected events and circumstances
- A minimum of 5+ years experience in creative project management within an agency or brand side creative organization
- Familiar with managing a large cross-functional team of stakeholders and driving alignment across all aspects of a creative project
- Experience with Jira and Smartsheet for project management
- Experience with email / CRM marketing
- Experience working with and managing creative teams and creative projects
- Well versed managing design creative projects across all production all channels (websites, email, CRM, programmatic, etc.)
