Role: Logistics Project Manager (Temp) - Multiple Openings!
Type: Temp Contract (3-6 months or until project completion) - Benefits Offered!
Pay: $30-50 hourly (depending on experience)
Location: Remote (Mountain Time Hours only) + Some Travel May be Required
We are partnered with a leading Healthcare Staffing organization who is seeking multiple Temp Logistics Project Managers for immediate needs.
You should be an experienced leader comfortable working with all levels of management. You will be accountable for managing a team and driving day-to-day operations for your workstream.
You will be accountable for one of the following workstreams:
- Transportation: Manage all aspects of transporting workforce to and from locations. Partners closely with the Operations and Hotel teams to develop the logistics and resource plan for each active region. Primary liaison between Nursing Group and Transportation vendor.
- Staff Management: Manage all aspects of identifying, onboarding, training and scheduling staff. This includes internal employees, friends and family, and temporary agency employees. Accountable for managing engagement at strike activation, verification of onsite arrival, tracking employee days onsite, partnering closely with internal payroll & employment agencies. Coordination of travel and lodging.
- Hotels: Manage all aspects of event space and lodging for strike workforce and staff from initial contracting to execution. Partners closely with the Operations and Transportation teams to develop the logistics and resource plan for each active region. Primary liaison between Nursing Group and hotel brand account managers.
- Orientation - Modules: Manage all aspects of virtual strike orientation content from initial planning to execution. Primary liaison between Nursing Group and Training Solution vendor’s team to design strategy and troubleshoot issues as they occur. Oversee completion of virtual modules by strike workforce.
Key Responsibilities
- Effectively manage a team to track and drive progress to execution
- Contribute to risk assessment and mitigation strategies, helping to minimize project-related issues
- Effectively communicate project objectives, progress, and expectations to stakeholders and team members
- Act as a liaison between the Logistics Lead, team members, stakeholders, and management, facilitating clear communication and alignment
- Design and execute against project plans
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including project plans, timelines, and status reports
- Utilize project management tools to track and report project progress and key milestones
- Plan and facilitate meetings including document meeting summaries, agreements made, and actions items identified.
- Monitor upcoming due dates for action items, working with business stakeholders and project leads to monitor daily progress of projects and provide detailed updates
- Performs project management and drive accountability for team members across the project
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve issues, mitigate risks, and optimize project performance
- Drive visibility and effective communication across the project
Key Qualifications
- Experience leading/facilitating projects and teams, preferably across multiple functions
- Ability to effective manage conflict and de-escalate situations as needed
- Proven success applying innovative and creative problem-solving skills
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity
- Results driven with proven ability to prioritize and execute on both strategic and tactical initiatives
- Excellent organization, prioritization and problem-solving skills
- Ability to build relationships and advocate across all levels of an organization
- Strong administrative and coordinative skills
- Exercises accuracy and attention to detail
- Tech Saavy with Office 365, Microsoft Teams, Smartsheet, database products, scheduling software and can quickly learn new tools.
