Creative Project Manager Level 1

Title: Creative Project Manager Level 1

Location: Remote -PST hours but will need to travel for San Francisco, CA

Duration:6+ Months Contract

W2 only

“would like this person to go into SF for in-office event rehearsals (most of the events for next 6 months are in SF) – if not local they will need to travel for SF , early to mid September”

Managing one team’s bandwidth and communicating out to other project managers

90% execution, 10% strategy

Need someone to help manage the large volume of meetings the team takes throughout the day.

Be able to establish clear timelines for all of the team’s partners, understand what the team needs to deliver, etc.

Timelines and milestones should be very clear

Skills:

• Able to manage timelines and milestones
• 2+ years of experience as a Creative Project Manager, ideally with a design background but not required (no cap on experience as long as they’re open to working with other project managers)
• Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and workback plan
• Strong and effective communication skills
• Coordination of Creative resources based on workload and prioritization
• Schedule and facilitate meetings with stakeholders

Team is using G Suite and Quip, if they have experience it’s a plus but easily trainable

Requirements and skills:

• Experience using Google Sheets, Docs, Slides
• Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle
• Familiarity with project management best practices, methodologies, and software tools
• Minimum 2 years of experience managing projects with multiple stakeholders from kick-off to completion
• Experience with Quip a plus
• PMP designation is a plus
• Detail-oriented
• Proven ability to manage and complete multiple cross-functional projects at a time
• Experience with Design principles (Hierarchy, composition, color theory, etc)
• Ability to work Pacific hours 25% of the time
• Proven ability to work well cross-functionally, influence stakeholders, and synthesize information and creative feedback from diverse stakeholders
• Proactive and resourceful
• Effective communication skills across multiple channels including Google Meet, Slack, and email
• Ability to travel 10% of the time
