VP Operations & Integration – San Francisco Bay Area
Who We Are
Axia Water is a water services company backed by Alpine Investors and its innovative services company, AlpineX. Axia invests in high-quality water services businesses across the US, working with owners and founders to take their business into its next exciting chapter of growth. Axia is laser-focused on its mission to build the future of water together with its owners and founders, as we enter an increasingly resource-constrained and uncertain future. We are the safe pair of hands that our customers can rely on to deliver our most precious resource – water.
The Opportunity
The Axia VP Operations & Integration is a unique opportunity to lead internal operations as Axia scales through organic and inorganic growth.
You will guide our operating companies as they join the Axia Water family, developing and imparting best practices and co-designing the Axia Operating Playbooks with our opco leaders. This involves effective coordination with all parties in the M&A integration process (deal team, diligence team, HR, accounting, etc.) to design and execute a post-acquisition onboarding plan and executing on that plan with operating companies.
You are also the beating heart of Axia operations, managing key outside vendor relationships, communications with Alpine, AlpineX and external parties, and assisting portfolio leaders with a variety of tasks. You will sit at the intersection of private equity investing, portfolio company operations, talent management, finance, and many other functions within a highly successful PE firm.
The role is hybrid (2-3 days per week) at Axia’s head office in the San Francisco Bay Area. Travel (~1 week per month) is expected to work with operating companies on integration efforts.
