We are currently seeking a dedicated Operational Assistant to join our team and thrive in our fast-paced and dynamic environment.
: As an Entry-Level Operational Assistant at DCB Hospitality you will play a crucial role in ensuring the communication within its management team and ownership. This is an exciting opportunity for an organized and detail-oriented individual to gain hands-on experience in the hospitality industry.
Essential Functions:
Exercise discretion and independent judgment and provide executive support in one-on-one working relations with Chief Operating Officer.
·Monitor project management and priorities for executives.
·Assist in preparing and editing documents, reports, and presentations for internal and external distribution.
·Handle correspondence and communication, both written and verbal, in a professional and efficient manner
·Oversees special projects and works independently from conception to completion; serves as the administrative liaison on projects.
·Prioritize conflicting needs, handles matter expeditiously, and proactively, and follows-through on projects to successful completion, often with multiple deadline pressures.
·Frequently works under pressure to handle a wide variety of activities and confidential matters with discretion.
·Collaborate with the management team to monitor and maintain inventory levels of supplies, equipment, and ingredients.
·Participate in training programs to continuously enhance your knowledge of restaurant operations, customer service standards, and safety protocols.
The Ideal Candidate will:
-College degree or equivalent preferred, but not required.
-Ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment while managing multiple tasks.
-Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and thoroughness.
-Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Work, PowerPoint, Outlook).
-Possess strong written, verbal, administrative, and organizational skills.
-Have exceptional interpersonal and relationship management skills.
-Travel time may be required (35%) – must have a valid CA Driver’s license
