What We’re Looking For….


We seek a passionate Vice President of Operations to join our executive team. You will report directly to the COO and lead our daily operations. To be successful in this role, you need to be transparent, flexible, have a high EQ, and have a solid fundamental understanding of the finance industry and taxation.


You should be results-driven, focusing on operational efficiency and profit margin while maintaining an expert-level understanding of how the organization is doing as a whole. The right candidate dreams of ideal operational processes and brings them to life. You crave knowledge and seek it out regularly; you learn relentlessly.


Job Summary


The Vice President of Operations will plan, direct, coordinate, and oversee operations activities in the organization, ensuring the development and implementation of efficient operations and cost-effective systems to meet the current and future needs of the organization.


Leadership Responsibilities


  • Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations.
  • Oversees the daily workflow of the department.
  • Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.
  • Coordinates with the Recruiting Department to hire quality talent.


Duties/Responsibilities


  • Establishes and administers the department’s budget.
  • Collaborates with executive leadership to develop and meet company goals while supplying expertise and guidance on operations projects and systems.
  • Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for all key processes within the organization, ensuring consistent execution, adherence to best practices, and continuous improvement in operational efficiency specific to the ERC tax credit processing business.
  • Presents periodic performance reports and metrics to the chief executive officer and other leadership.
  • Continuously optimize and streamline our ERC tax credit processing procedures, making use of technology and automation where possible to improve both internal and external operational efficiency and client satisfaction.
  • Maintains knowledge of emerging technologies and trends in operations management.
  • Collaborates with other divisions and departments to carry out the organization’s goals and objectives.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
  • Establishes, implements, and communicates the strategic direction of the organization’s operations division.
  • Identifies, recommends, and implements new processes, technologies, and systems to improve and streamline organizational processes and use of resources and materials.
  • Reviews and approves cost-control reports, cost estimates, and staffing requirements for projects.
  • Establishes, communicates, and implements operations-related policies, practices, standards, and security measures to ensure effective and consistent support and execution.
  • Ensures that departmental decisions and project plans such as those for staffing, development, organization, material efficiency, hardware acquisitions, and facilities are in line with the organization’s business plan and vision.
  • Identifies training needs and ensures proper training is developed and provided.
  • Establish effective management techniques and a robust reporting system that promotes employee engagement, accountability, and data-driven decision-making, enabling strategic planning and monitoring of overall organizational performance.

Education And Experience


  • 15 years of leadership in the finance industry, including three (3) years in senior leadership required.
  • MBA in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or other industry-related field required.
