Job Description

Our client is a cutting-edge series C cybersecurity startup. We are seeking a Vice President of Product Marketing (OR potentially Director) to join our growing team and play a pivotal role in driving the success of our cybersecurity solutions.


Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, the VP, Product Marketing responsibilities include:

  • Lead the planning and execution of product launches, ensuring seamless coordination across marketing, sales, product, and customer success teams.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, sales, and customer success, to develop comprehensive product marketing strategies.
  • Collaborate with customer success and sales teams to capture customer success stories and case studies, demonstrating the positive impact of our solutions on clients' cybersecurity posture.
  • Measure the effectiveness of product launches through pre-defined metrics and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
  • Craft compelling sales enablement materials.
  • Directly manage a team of 3, with immediate plans to grow.
  • Work closely with the marketing and demand generation teams to create integrated marketing campaigns that drive lead generation, nurture prospects, and accelerate sales pipeline.
  • Develop compelling product messaging and positioning that effectively communicates the value and benefits of our cybersecurity solutions to target customers.
  • Conduct thorough market analysis to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to inform product positioning and marketing strategies.
  • Define key performance indicators (KPIs) for marketing campaigns and analyze performance to optimize and improve campaign effectiveness continuously.



Requirements:

  • Ability to distill complex technical concepts into clear and compelling messaging.
  • Start up experience preferred.
  • Solid understanding of cybersecurity trends, products, and market dynamics.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and drive alignment towards common goals.
  • 15+ years in product marketing, including within the cybersecurity/network security
  • Experience within healthcare/health tech/pharma preferred.
  • Track record of successfully launching and marketing complex B2B technology products.
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven decision-making abilities.
