About the position
MyDI is an answering service solution that Direct Interactions offers to small businesses. We are looking to staff our myDI team with Virtual Receptionist that can work evening/overnight hours, weekends and holidays. As a myDI virtual receptionist, you will be accepting calls across multiple clients such as doctors offices, dentist offices, law firms, and housing authorities (to name a few) and provide support to their customers. Requests may include scheduling appointments, routing calls, providing account information, taking messages, dispatching or transferring calls.

Requirements:- Must work holidays
- Must be a self-starter
- Must demonstrate a passion for providing outstanding service
- Must have at least 1 year of customer service experience
- Routinely demonstrates listening skills and is attentive to the needs of those you will be assisting
- Ability to be flexible and handle changes efficiently
- Ability to pay attention to detail and multitask while navigating through multiple programs and information
- Must type at least 25 WPM
- Must possess the ability to remain poised in any situation or customer interaction
- Ability to use a computer quickly and accurately
- Experience working in a team environment (IE cooperating with co-workers, joint problem solving etc.)
- Ability to show empathy when necessary
- Must be proficient in Excel, Word and Outlook Office products
- Ability to remain calm under pressure in a fast-paced contact center environment
- Must work at least 8 hours across the weekend
- Excellent verbal communication skills including correct grammar and pronunciation along with tone and pitch
Additional Requirements
- Must be a current resident living in the United States
- Must have at least a high school diploma or equivalent
- Legally able to work in the United States
- Must pass a criminal background check paid for by us (Direct Interactions)

Job Details (what you will be doing)
- Provide requested information
- Take detailed messages
- Scheduling appointments
- Routing/transferring of calls
- Answer incoming calls via computer software and assist customers
- Dispatching
- Accept calls and courteously greet callers
Training
- Orientation and training are mandatory and paid
- You must first attend a mandatory orientation session
- Training is done virtually and will consist of virtual instructor led training
- 100% attendance is required in all phases of the on-boarding process

Shifts
- Agent must be available to work a minimum of 25 hours per week (maximum 40 hours a week) within the hours of operation noted below:
Hours of operation for the program
24 hours a day 7 day per week with a concentration on hours Monday-Friday 3:00 pm EST to 8:00 am EST (convert these times to reflect in your time zone)
Saturday and Sunday 24 hours a day are available to work
Holidays 24 hours a day are available to work
- Holidays and weekends are required. Holiday hours are determined based on client need and can vary.
- Weekend hours: 8 hours per weekend required
- While MyDi is a 24 hour a day 7 day per week call center, our biggest focus is 3:00 pm to 8:00 am EST Monday through Friday and 24 hours a day on weekends and holidays.
Pay Rate
- All mandatory events are paid (orientation &training)
- We are paid biweekly via direct deposit
- This is a W2 (employee) position
- $15.00 per hour

- US based Internet service provider (ISP)
- USB headset with noise-canceling microphone; 3.5 mm headsets are NOT approved and will not work with our software
- Desktop or laptop; Apple/Mac, Tablets or Smart devices, Windows Mini PCs, Chromebook, and Android systems are NOT compatible
- High-speed Internet via hard wired ethernet connection, no Wi-Fi, satellite or cellular hotspot or cellular internet
- Operating system – Windows 10 or higher
