The Vice President, Mobility Energy Solutions Position

Sunnova Energy is currently searching for a Vice President, Mobility to be responsible for building and executing Sunnova’s go to market strategy for Mobility based energy services. T his individual will be responsible for working cross functionally with sales channel leaders, the products and services teams, business development and others to conceive, align and then execute and grow an integrated and accretive portfolio of solutions.

A well-qualified candidate will have senior level experience building and leading cross functional teams, preferably in a solar or EV business. They will have a strong understanding of energy services, product development, sales and marketing functions and how to build go to market strategies. They will understand the distributed energy business and the role that solar, energy storage, electric vehicles and other technologies play in the energy market and in meeting the future energy needs of consumers.

This leader will have an entrepreneurial spirit, is a self-starter, effective networker, charismatic leader, comfortable selling and managing leaders and is passionate about energy, distributed energy and building a mobility business.

Vice President, Mobility Energy Solutions Responsibilities

• Own future P&L development and management for mobility
• Build and lead an organization of professionals in the development, go to market and growth of a portfolio of mobility energy solutions.
• Work in a matrixed business collaboratively and effectively to achieve corporate goals and objectives.
• Own go to market strategy, tactics, goals and outcomes in the development of a mobility business line.
• Partner with Sunnova Product organization to define, develop and refine the services solution(s).

Minimum Requirements

• Minimum years of experience required: 10 or more years with leadership experience in business development, sales and energy.
• Education required: Bachelor’s degree, masters preferred.
• Ideal candidate has small commercial solar sales experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Commercial solar sales, business development and / or product experience

Additional Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Residential or Commercial Energy services
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, goals oriented and a proclivity to win
• Experience managing a P&L
• Executive leadership experience

Working conditions:

• Estimated travel time : 30 - 40%
• Open office environment

Location:

• Houston or Remote
