Vice President Global Clinical Operations

We are seeking a highly experienced and accomplished professional to join our client as the Vice President of Global Operations for an Oncology drug development company.

With a strong background in drug development and extensive expertise in various functional areas, including Program Management, Clinical Operations, Regulatory Strategy, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain, the successful candidate will play a critical role in driving operational success and ensuring the achievement of key business objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Drive operational excellence, foster collaboration, and promote a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
• Provide oversight of the identification, selection, contracting, and management of CROs, vendors, and consultants.
• Forecast R&D budgets and review operational budgets quarterly to ensure adherence to projections.
• Oversee the clinical trials of the lead drug candidate, ensuring alignment with corporate goals and adherence to project timelines and objectives.
• Conduct routine visits to clinical sites and investigators, meeting with Key Opinion Leaders to optimize the clinical and development strategy.
• Provide leadership and strategic direction to teams in the planning, execution, and achievement of program objectives, timelines, and budgets.
• Select and validate manufacturing facilities, implement process optimization strategies, and enhance supply chain security.
• Monitor and optimize operational costs while maintaining high-quality standards.

Requirements:

• In-depth knowledge of drug development processes, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices. Familiarity with global clinical trial operations, supply chain management, and manufacturing optimization.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver results and achieve objectives within budget and timeline constraints. Proven experience in cost optimization and reduction.
• Strong understanding of regulatory compliance requirements and quality standards in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Experience in overseeing clinical trials and successfully navigating regulatory processes is essential.
• Strong publication record in peer-reviewed journals and experience in patent filings.
• Proven track record of successfully leading functional teams and driving operational excellence.
• Strong, demonstratable background in Program Management, Clinical Operations, Regulatory Strategy, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain.
• Master of Science in a relevant field.
